Dear entrepreneurs, I am a Ugandan tech entrepreneur!
25 Things I've Learned In 25 Years
1. The more you do what you really love to do, the less likely you are to compare yourself with others.
2. You're not behind, you're not ahead; you're where you're meant to be.
3. Don't accept the parameters people make for you.
4. When you can't find the opportunities you want, create them.
5. See the things you haven't done yet as possibilities and not failures.
6. Don't worry if people love you or not, because “you can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there's still going to be somebody who hates peaches.”
7. If you're privileged, acknowledge it, and don't waste it.
8. Everybody's still figuring sh*t out. Nobody truly knows what they're doing.
9. If it's meant for you, it will come, and if it doesn't, learn to let it go.
10. Plans change, so hold them lightly.
11. Remember to question your own rules too, because sometimes, we are wrong too.
